OVERVIEW

An overpopulated earth, an advanced and struggling USA. The country has an advanced range of technology and a vast knowledge of the science. Cities are cluttered, skyscrapers fill gaps. Produce and meat are created artificially.It has become a blend of human and non-human, "Underworlders," beings from an alternate dimension who survive on human energy.Contracts are made between human and Underworlders, created to balance society.

BACKGROUND

Years ago, a portal in the shape of a rift, suddenly appeared in space. What came through, were giant vessels. Large, broken, alien-like, and seemingly on the brink of destruction.It came with no warning, the ships falling into Earth's atmosphere. The ships crash-landed in different parts of the world, some landing in the ocean, some in other continents.One ship landed in America.It didn't take long for the government to track down the crashing projectile, immediately going to investigate.The intruders revealed themselves to be Underworlders. Alien and demi-like humanoids that came from an alternate dimension. They hail from Earth - X11, a world filled with other creatures similar to them. A world that was destroyed, not only due to war, but because of the death of their planet.The surviving population of Underworlders boarded the ships they had left, attempting to escape the havoc and their doomed fate.The American government had sent Underworlders through a series of tests and experiments.
It took years for them to earn official citizenship, with a few limitations.Along with this citizenship, came 'Contracts,' an agreement that allowed the humans and Underworlders to co-exist in a 'balanced' society.
